Do you go to product meetups?
I'm curious, do you go to Product Management meetups? If so, which ones do you find most useful?
Yesterday I attended a Lean Startup Circle meetup in Carpinteria where local product leaders Bharat Bharat, Mark Weeks and Cynthia Rodriguez presented some tips to local product managers.
I enjoyed the format, the free beer, and the new connections. My biggest takeaway from meetups like this one has been that few local product managers are adversarial with each other. We're facing similar challenges and can benefit from open dialog, and realtime sharing on techniques for measuring opportunity, getting buy-in, and avoiding unnecessary dev cycles.
